Job summary

Delta by Marriott, Downtown Muskegon is seeking a Dishwasher to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, utensils, glassware, pots and pans. You will also restock items, assist with prep stations and help maintain cleanliness of appliances and surfaces.

The role requires standing for extended periods and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs, with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as needed. We are an equal opportunity employer.

• Dispose of trash and maintain cleanliness of prep areas.
• Perform other cleaning duties as needed.

Job description

Summary: Dishwashers are responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, tableware, glassware, pots, pans and utensils through manual and machine cleaning methods. Dishwashers also restock items, help prepare cook stations, clean appliances, surfaces and empty and clean trash containers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Scrape, rinse and load dishes and utensils into dish machine
• Wash and sanitize pots, pans, utensils and dishes
• Clean sanitize and maintain dish machines
• Unload dishes and utensils from dish machines and organize properly
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
• Transports trash to disposal area
• Clean food prep stations and equipment
• Perform additional cleaning duties as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time with or without reasonable accommodations
