Job summary

Clarendale of Mokena, managed by LCS, is seeking a Full-Time dishwasher. The role requires availability every other weekend and offers benefits including 401(k), health, life, and vision insurance, plus PTO.

Starting pay is $16.00/hour, with opportunities to serve seniors and be a key part of a caring dining team at 21536 South Wolf Rd, Mokena, IL. Ideal candidates have at least high school sophomore year completion and experience in food service or with seniors.

Qualifications

• Minimum completion of sophomore year in high school required.
• Experience in food service work preferred.
• Experience in working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization per community standards.
• Adhere to food quality, appearance and presentation standards at all times.
• Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards.
• Serve residents with speed, accuracy and courtesy.
• Set tables and maintain work stations; take orders and assist as needed.
• Clear dishes and assist with dishwashing; reset tables.
• Provide warm, inviting service and promote a welcoming dining atmosphere.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Exemplify at all times Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and organization.
• Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance and presentation standards at all times.
• Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards at all times.
• Exhibit serving standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Set tables and maintain work stations in proper order. Take order, provide service and requested items both graciously and courteously. Answer pertinent questions about menu items.
• Clear dishes from tables during and after meal service, assist with dish washing, and reset tables.
• Serve residents using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.
• Knowledge of diets provided and served correctly per Policy and Procedure.
• Represent community in a warm and inviting manner, which creates a positive marketing environment.
• Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

• Minimum completion of sophomore year in high school required
• Experience in food service work preferred
• Experience in working with seniors preferred
