Job summary

Clarendale of Mokena seeks a Dining Room Server to welcome residents and guests, take orders, and provide attentive service in a warm, inviting dining room. Roles include part-time with every other weekend, with no late-night shifts.

Starting pay is $16/hour. Benefits include 401(k), dental, health and life insurance, paid time off, and vision coverage. Prior food service and senior-care experience are preferred, supporting a friendly community atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Sophomore year of high school or higher required.
• Experience in food service preferred.
• Experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set tables and maintain clean, organized workstations.
• Take orders, serve, and provide items courteously.
• Explain menu items and answer customer questions.
• Serve customers using proper etiquette and create an inviting dining atmosphere.

We are seeking a part-time or full-time Server. Responsible for using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere. No late nights!

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Dining Room Server:

• Always exemplify Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
• Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards always.
• Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards always.
• Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order. Take orders, provide service and requested items both graciously and courteously. Answer pertinent questions about menu items.
• Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• Minimum completion of sophomore year in high school required
• Experience in food service work preferred
• Experience in working with seniors preferred
