Job summary

Crooners Lounge and Supper Club in Minneapolis is seeking a part-time dishwasher to ensure cleanliness and sanitization of dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using manual and machine methods. The position supports a fast-paced kitchen and requires attention to detail and proper hygiene standards.

Shifts are typically 3:30pm-11:00pm or 4:00pm-10:00pm, with 2-3 shifts per week and a requirement to work 2 days among Friday to Sunday.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Wash pots, pans, and other cooking equipment by hand and in machine using approved techniques.
• Maintain clean and sanitized kitchen utensils and service ware to provide efficient service.
• Keep dish area, equipment, and chemicals organized and clean throughout shift.
• Change dish machine chemicals, water, and three-compartment sink as needed.
• Inspect and verify machine operation and chemical levels throughout shift.

The position: The dishwasher is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitization of dishes, tableware, glassware, pots, pans, utensils, through manual and machine cleaning methods.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC JOB DUTIES

• Wash pots, pans, and other cooking equipment by hand while following company approved washing techniques
• Maintain clean and sanitized kitchen utensils and service ware to keep up with the pace of the restaurant and provide efficient service to our guests
• Maintain dish area, equipment, and chemicals
• Ensure the work area is clean and equipment stay clean and organized throughout shift
• Change dish machine chemicals, water, and three-compartment sink as needed
• Inspect and verify machine is working properly and chemical levels are correct throughout shift

SCHEDULE:

• 2-3 shifts per week between Wednesday thru Sunday
• Shifts are typically 3:30pm-11:00pm or 4:00pm-10:00pm
• Must be able to work 2 days between Friday, Saturday and Sunday

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION

EDUCATION and/or AGE REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 16 years of age

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

• Ability to demonstrate and practice the principles of proper body mechanics for all physical activities
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of and ability to safely operate position equipment
