Job summary

Touchmark at Meadow Lake Village in Boise is seeking a Dishwasher to support our Dining Services team. You will help maintain a safe, clean kitchen and ensure residents receive high-quality meals through clean utensils and equipment.

No experience required; you must be willing to work weekends and holidays as needed. You must have a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stay on your feet for long periods.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be willing to help maintain a safe and clean kitchen by performing tasks such as sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, and stocking dishes and utensils, and correctly operating kitchen equipment.
• Enjoy working both independently and as part of a large team.
• Be able to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds and stay on your feet for long periods of time.
• Maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, team members, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized kitchen to support the Dining Services team.
• Ensure utensils, dishes, and equipment are clean for meal preparation and delivery.
• Help with stocking dishes and utensils and operating kitchen equipment as needed.

The right candidate will have scheduling flexibility. You must be willing and available to work weekends and holidays as needed and scheduled.

As a Dishwasher, you will enrich lives each day by helping to maintain a safe, clean, and organized kitchen alongside other members of the Dining Services team. An organized kitchen is necessary for residents to receive the highest-quality meals possible, and that starts with you! Meals can’t be prepared and delivered to residents without clean utensils, dishes, and equipment. By taking ownership of this responsibility and anticipating the kitchen's needs, you will help ensure everyone's success.
