Job summary

Sagewood in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. You will keep the dining area supplied with clean tableware by washing, sanitizing, and storing dishes, while maintaining a tidy, organized work space.

The schedule runs 2:00 PM to 8:30 PM, with additional shifts 4:00 PM–8:00 PM and 3–4 varied days per week, including weekends and occasional holidays. Must have a valid AZ food handlers card and be able to stand long hours and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must pass background check.
• AZ food handlers’ card required.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate dishwashing equipment and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes work area, carts, and kitchen.
• Cleans pots and dishes plus storing both food and non-food supplies.
• Takes out the trash and recycling.

• Pay: $17.00/ hr


• Schedule: 2pm - 8:30pm, 4pm - 8pm
  Working 3-4 varied days per week.

Job Duties:

Important member of the kitchen team! Cleans and sanitizes work area, carts, and kitchen. Cleans pots and dishes plus storing both food and non-food supplies. Takes out the trash and recycling.

Who you are:

A Dishwasher is a professional who is responsible for cleaning dishes in a foodservice environment to ensure that there is always plenty of clean tableware at hand. When washing, they prioritize different types and sizes of crockery and kitchen utensils. They are in charge of loading the dishwasher and placing dishes on drying racks to be put away properly when done using.

To be part of the team:

• Will be on your feet for extended periods of time and occasionally lift up to 50lbs. Working in a restaurant style kitchen.
