Job summary

Sagewood in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to support our kitchen team. You will clean and sanitize work areas, wash dishes, and handle waste in a fast-paced setting near the Mayo Clinic corridor.

This role emphasizes reliability, adherence to safety standards, and teamwork. Vaccination is required, and the team offers meal privileges per shift, daily pay options, and a supportive work environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• AZ food handlers’ card is required.
• Background check is required.
• Standing for extended periods and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all work areas, carts, and kitchen.
• Wash pots, dishes, and store foods and supplies.
• Take out the trash and recycling.
• Set up and operate dishwashing equipment and maintain clean routines.

Job description

Position Details:

• Pay: $17.00/ hr


• Schedule: 2pm - 8:30pm, 4pm - 8pm
  Working 3-4 varied days per week.
  Working weekends and occasional holidays.


• Location: 4555 E. Mayo Blvd, Phoenix, AZ 85050


• Vaccination: FLU vaccine REQUIRED.

Job Duties:

Important member of the kitchen team! Cleans and sanitizes work area, carts, and kitchen. Cleans pots and dishes plus storing both food and non-food supplies. Takes out the trash and recycling.

Who you are:

A Dishwasher is a professional who is responsible for cleaning dishes in a foodservice environment to ensure that there is always plenty of clean tableware at hand. When washing, they prioritize different types and sizes of crockery and kitchen utensils. They are in charge of loading the dishwasher and placing dishes on drying racks to be put away properly when done using.

To be part of the team:

• Will be on your feet for extended periods of time and occasionally lift up to 50lbs. Working in a restaurant style kitchen.


• Can set up and operate dish washing equipment.


• Able to understand and follow directions.


• Must pass background check.
