Job summary

Massanutten Resort is seeking a Dishwasher to provide guests and staff with clean utensils, plates, glassware and kitchen equipment. You will maintain overall kitchen cleanliness and assist with prep while following safety and sanitation policies.

Must be at least 16 years old and capable of lifting 25 pounds. Responsibilities include washing and sanitizing dishware, keeping the dish area tidy, and completing assigned prep work; you may set up the dish machine and assist with other duties as

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to maintain safe food practices including hand washing and use of safety equipment.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure dishes are cleaned and sanitized and available as needed.
• Wash plates, glassware, silverware, pots/pans and kitchen utensils according to sanitation and cleaning procedures.
• Keep dish area clean by sweeping, mopping floors, wiping countertops, and emptying trash.
• Complete all assigned prep work.
• Set up dish machine in the AM and close down machine in the PM according to company procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

A Dishwasher is responsible for providing guests and employees with clean and sanitized utensils, plates, glassware and kitchen equipment. Duties include ensuring overall cleanliness of kitchen and assisting with prep and general kitchen work while upholding safety and sanitation policies. Must be at least 16 years of age and able to lift at least 25 pounds and an ideal candidate is willing to learn more about kitchen and food prep.
