Job summary

Bluestone Johnny Carinos is seeking a reliable dishwasher to support our kitchen and dining area. You will operate the automatic dish machine, restock supplies, and help with general sanitation to keep the restaurant running smoothly.

The successful candidate will be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays, and will follow health and safety standards in a fast-paced team environment.

Experience in a restaurant is preferred; must be 16+ and ready to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• Previous dishwashing or restaurant experience preferred.
• Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes via dishwasher, restock dishes, take out trash, and assist with kitchen and floor maintenance.
• Maintain dining room and kitchen sanitation.
• Adhere to health, kitchen safety and sanitation standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Daily responsibilities include: washing dishes through automatic dish machine, restocking dishes, trash removal, kitchen and service floor maintenance and other responsibilities as directed


• Maintaining dining room and kitchen sanitation


• Adhere to health, kitchen safety and sanitation standards

Qualifications and Skills

• Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age


• Previous Dishwashing or restaurant experience preferred


• Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays

Physical Demands

• Must have the ability to lift pots, pans, etc., up to 50 pounds in weight


• Ability to place plates, utensils, pans and cases on high and low shelves


• Mobility required during the entire shift


• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to eight (8) hours in length
