Daily Grill Concepts, headquartered in Palm Desert, CA, is hiring for a dishwasher role to support our team across multiple California locations. This is a union position offering opportunities to grow within the company.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, organized dish area, operating dish machines, assisting in food prep, and ensuring safety and sanitation standards throughout the shift. Open availability, physical stamina, and a Food Handlers card are required.

Qualifications

• Must have open availability including weekends and holidays.
• Experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Food Handlers card within 30 days of hire.
• Able to stand 4-12 hours and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Union position; enrollment required upon hire.

Headquartered in Palm Desert, CA Daily Grill Concepts is a national restaurant company with 5 restaurants in two states. The Company boasts 2 different, yet complimentary brands, spanning the spectrum from Casual Daily Grill to the hip and trendy Public School Gastro Pubs.

We are looking for experienced, energetic, and hospitality focused team members to join our team!

Job Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean kitchen, properly washes and sorts soiled dishes. Keeps dish area free of clutter and organized.
• Sets up dish stations, including dish machines and three compartment sinks.
• Maintains clean / dry floors throughout the shift.
• Properly washes, stacks, and stores china, glassware, silverware, cookware, and storage containers.
• Changes water of machines and sinks every two hours, or more often as required by business levels, and properly uses chemical dilutions.
• Maintain the dish area to ensure the highest level of safety and sanitation
• Checks equipment daily to ensure they are in good working condition and promptly report any defects/malfunctions to management.
• Assists in the timely storing of food deliveries.
• Maintains trash cans throughout shift and removes full trashcans and boxes at the end of each shift.
• Follows the posted daily dish cleaning duties.
• Assists in food prep and any other duties set forth or requested by the chef as needed.

Job Requirements

• Must have an open availability including weekends and holidays
• Experience preferred
• Strong multi-tasking ability, with the ability to work well under pressure
• Positive and Professional Attitude
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must present a Food Handlers card within 30 days of hire
• Must be comfortable with repetitive movements
• Must be able to walk, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, and twist for 4-12 hours/day
• Must be able to push, pull, or lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• This is a union position and union enrollment is required upon hire
