Job summary

The George Sportsmen's Lounge in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a dependable dishwasher to maintain a clean and organized dish area, operate the dish machine, and support the kitchen team. You will assist in cleaning other areas as needed and ensure all dishes, glassware and utensils are properly sanitized and stored.

Applicants should understand SNHD sanitation guidelines, be capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds. Must be 21+ and hold a valid health card from SNHD.

Qualifications

• Must understand sanitary guidelines (SNHD)
• Experience with dish machines and 3-compartment sinks preferred
• Able to maintain water temperatures in dish processes
• Able to restock dishes, glassware, utensils and supplies
• Maintain cleanliness of dish area, walk-ins, restrooms and storage areas
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Must be 21+ years old and hold a health card

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize and store all dishes, glassware, baskets, utensils, pots and pans
• Operate and maintain dish machine and 3-compartment sinks
• Restock and store items in proper locations
• Remove garbage and used oil from kitchen
• Keep dish area, walk-ins, restrooms and storage areas clean and organized
• Assist in cleaning other areas of the restaurant as requested by Chef or manager on duty
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally

Basic Functions:Properly cleans, sanitizes and stores all dishes, glassware, baskets, utensils, pots and pans. Responsible for maintaining dish room, dish machine and 3 compartment sinks. Assists in cleaning other areas of the restaurant as requested.Essential Job FunctionsKnowledge of sanitary guidelines as outlined by the SNHD.Knowledge of dish machine operations and 3 compartment sink set up.Assures water temperatures are properly maintained in the dish machine and 3 compartment sinks.Restocks and stores all dishes, baskets, glassware, utensils, pots and pans in proper locations.Removes all garbage, empty boxes and used oil from the kitchen.Keeps dish, walk-ins, restrooms and storage areas clean and organized.Performs additional responsibilities as requested by the Chef or manager on duty.Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and be able to bend, lift, stretch and kneel without restriction.Must be able to tolerate prolonged exposure to heat, cold and or wet environment.The individual must be able to transport up to 50 lbs on occasion and up to 35 lbs regularly.Qualifications:Must be 21 years or older.Must possess a valid health card from the Southern Nevada Health DistrictPrevious experience in desired position preferred.
