Responsibilities

  • Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
  • Properly operate and maintain dishwashing machines and sanitizing equipment.
  • Maintain correct sanitizer concentrations and test sanitizer solutions.
  • Follow SNHD guidelines for cleaning and sanitizing food-contact surfaces.
  • Keep dishwashing, storage, and kitchen areas clean, organized, and sanitary at all times.
  • Sweep, mop, and maintain floors to prevent slip and fall hazards.
  • Empty trash and recycling containers and keep waste areas clean.
  • Restock clean dishes, utensils, and supplies in designated areas.
  • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries following proper food safety procedures.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
  • Report equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or sanitation concerns to management immediately.
  • Assist with basic food preparation and cleaning duties as assigned.

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen. This role ensures all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen areas are clean, organized, and ready for service while supporting the kitchen team as needed.

  • Use approved cleaning chemicals and store them properly.
  • Maintain clean and sanitary workstations throughout the shift.
  • Participate in all required food safety and sanitation training.

Schedule & Availability

  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Punctual attendance and dependable work habits are required.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent lifting, carrying, bending, and standing.
  • Ability to work in hot, wet, and fast-paced conditions.
