$16.90 - $18.00 hourly, this is an hourly, non‑exempt position. Not eligible for tips.

Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth kitchen operations by keeping dishwashing areas organized.
- Manage tasks efficiently to maintain kitchen workflow.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Restock kitchen and cooking line as needed throughout the shift.
- Perform routine cleaning and assist with general cleaning tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clear understanding of dish machine operations and follow proper procedures for changing water and chemicals.
- Keep floors clean and dry.
- Ensure plates and smallware are properly washed, sanitized, and stored.
- Maintain and inspect food receiving, preparation, production, and storage areas to ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to.
- Correct unsafe practices or conditions and notify management.
- Commit to food safety, cleanliness, job safety, and sanitation standards.
- Demonstrate teamwork by supporting all areas of the restaurant as business needs arise.
Requirements
- 1+ year BOH experience in a full‑service restaurant (preferred).
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
- Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods up to 8 hours per shift.
- Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting and stooping.
- Manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils and technology systems.
- Ability to move quickly in a fast‑paced environment.
- Visual ability to work in low or dim lighting.
- Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Responsible Beverage Service Certifications required for all California‑based positions (can be completed during training, up to 60 days after start date).
