Job summary

Covenant Living is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to operate the dishwashing machine and maintain clean, orderly kitchen areas in our dining services department. You will assist across the kitchen, transport supplies, and help ensure sanitary standards are met to support resident meals.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience, can communicate effectively in English, and be reliable in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous relevant experience, required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, oral and written, with residents, family members, and staff, required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clean water pitchers to nursing stations.
• Maintain stock areas in a neat and orderly fashion on a daily basis.
• Transport carts to and from the appropriate dining areas.
• Operate the dishwashing machine.
• Monitor and record the water temperatures and cleaning compound usage.
• Perform cleaning assignments as directed.
• Clean and washed food-service carts, dishes, utensils, trays, pots, pans, etc., and stores same.
• Uses proper sanitation in all food and service areas.
• Maintain cleanliness in all work areas, equipment, and appliances.
• Deliver food requests to stations as needed.
• Keep all kitchen work areas and dining rooms clear of dirty dishes.

In This Role, The Dishwasher Will

Compensation Pay Range

$15.28 - $19.83 per hour

Reasonable Pay Estimate

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $15.28 - $19.83 per hour. There are numerous factors taken into consideration in determining the actual offered rate of pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and consideration of internal and external equity.
