Job summary

Trinity Services Group in North Carolina is seeking a Dishwasher/Sanitation Worker to support operations inside the Onslow County Jail. The role requires available evenings and weekends and involves maintaining the cleanliness of dishes and equipment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of dishes, serve ware, and kitchen utensils.
• Keep dishwashing station and related areas clean and organized.

• Perform light maintenance and custodial tasks as needed.

About This Position

This position is working inside a jail/correctional facility at the Onslow County Jail.

Hours: shifts will be between 11am-8pm 5 days a week, will also require weekend availability

The Dishwasher/Sanitation Worker is responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of dishes, serve ware, equipment, etc. In addition, the individual may perform other serviceable duties as assigned. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Trinity Services Group location based on client requirements and business needs.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

• Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils are cleaned and sanitized
• Maintains dishwashing station, sink and related areas cleaned
• Ensures equipment is clean and in working condition; reports any issues to management
• Performs other light maintenance and custodial tasks
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Adheres to Trinity Services Group safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
• Ensures security of company assets
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED and/or equivalent experience. Must be at least 18 years of age.

• 1-3 months prior work experience preferred.
• Demonstrates an understanding of basic sanitation procedures.
• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures due to exposure to hazardous chemicals.
• Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Requires constant standing/walking.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
