As a Dishwasher, you will wash cookware to Emmy Squared standards, keep the dish area organized, and maintain kitchen sanitation per health department guidelines.

Qualifications

• Back of house restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean cookware and dishes to Emmy Squared standards.
• Maintain dish area presentation and operate the dish machine safely.
• Clean pots, pans and utensils and sanitize cookware.
• Keep floors and wash area free of debris and residue.
• Support waste removal and safe lifting practices.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation per health department guidelines.
• Assist with back of house duties as assigned by management.

Dishwasher Key Responsibilities:

• To ensure all the equipment and food required for the function(s) are available to the waiters at the appropriate time and to wash and clean all cookware from kitchen production on areas in accordance to Emmy Squared standards.
• Ensures appropriate dish area presentation; how to set up, how to clean, chemicals and temperature setting of dish machine.
• Clean pots, pans and all other cookware utensils. All cookware and utensils will be completely cleaned and sanitized.
• Keep kitchen floor clean and wash area free of food residue or any other debris.
• Knowledge of floor maintenance, equipment used and good knowledge of chemical safety & usage.
• Knowledge of dumpster procedures and cardboard.
• Waste removal and safe lifting practices associated with waste removal.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation in accordance with health department guidelines.
• Responsible for appropriate use of facility supplies and equipment to minimize loss and waste.
• Keeps work area neat and clean at all times; cleans and maintains equipment used in food preparation.
• Other back of house duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Previous back of house restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize responsibilities.
• Ability to handle stressful situations, while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor.
• Ability to produce high volumes of work while maintaining quality per Emmy Squared standards
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to work around a variety of chemicals and be able to respond to hazardous situations.
• Must be able to lift / carry items up to 40 lbs. and push / pull items up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods of time, with frequent bending, twisting, squatting and reaching overhead.
