Emmy Squared Pizza in Charleston, SC is hiring a Dishwasher to support a busy kitchen that services two concepts: Angel Biscuit Co. by day and Emily Pizza by night.

You will ensure dishware and equipment are spotless and ready, maintain a clean back-of-house area, and help with additional duties as needed in a fast-paced environment. The role requires the ability to lift up to 40 lbs, push/pull up to 75 lbs, and adapt to a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all equipment and cookware are cleaned and available for use.
• Wash and clean all cookware, utensils, and dishware following Emmy Squared standards.
• Maintain dish area organization, including machine temperature settings and chemical safety.
• Keep kitchen floors clean and free of debris.
• Properly dispose of waste and follow dumpster procedures.
• Ensure kitchen sanitation aligns with health department regulations.
• Minimize loss and waste by using facility supplies appropriately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the back of house.
• Assist with additional back-of-house duties as assigned by management.

We’re bringing two concepts together under one roof in West Ashley—Angel Biscuit Co. by day and Emily Pizza by night.

Mornings are all about scratch-made biscuits, seriously good bagels, and breakfast worth getting out of bed for. By night, we switch gears to handcrafted pizza and a laid-back neighborhood atmosphere built around great food and hospitality.

We’re looking for DISHWASHERS to join our kitchen team who care about the food they put out, take pride in their work, and know how to move when things get busy. Whether you’re working breakfast, pizza, or somewhere in between, you’ll play an important role in making sure every dish that leaves the kitchen meets our standards.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Can handle high volumes of work while maintaining quality.
• Have the availability for a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Can work around various chemicals and respond to hazardous situations.
• Can lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and push or pull up to 75 lbs.
• Can walk and stand for extended periods, with frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching overhead.
