Job summary

Buck & Rider is seeking friendly dishwashers to keep our kitchen moving and support chefs, prep, and line cooks. You’ll wash tableware, sanitize gear, and return items to service, maintaining pace with the team.

This entry-level role offers paid training, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for advancement within a growing brand; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and obtain an AZ food handler card before day one.

Qualifications

• Ability to multi-task in fast-paced, team environment.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, and frequently lift and bend from the waist.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Must have AZ food handlers’ card or ability to obtain prior to first day.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment.
• Keeps work areas, food storage areas, and garbage area clean and safe at all times.
• Assists in inventory and supplies control by handling items properly.
• Work quickly to keep up with the pace of the restaurant and team.
• Adhere to all health and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as required, including prep work.

Buck & Rider is hiring Dishwashers who are ready to grow within our brands. Our Dish Team is responsible for setting the pace for a great shift. They provide dependable, fast service to the team. This team works closely with all Chefs, prep and line cooks and all FOH employees to ensure all dishes are properly washed, sanitized, and returned to service.

Day in the Life:

• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests
• Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment
• Keeps work areas, food storage areas, and garbage area clean and safe at all times
• Assists in control of inventory and supplies, by not breaking dishes and handling all items properly
• Work quickly to keep up with the pace of the restaurant and team
• Reading and following department of health standards and food industry standards
• Adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
• Perform all other duties as required, including prep work or additional tasks as needed
