Job summary

Iron Cactus is seeking a diligent dishwasher to keep the kitchen sanitary and running smoothly. You will set up stations, wash equipment, and ensure timely turnover to support servers and bussers.

The role requires knowledge of safety and sanitation, ability to work in a team, and willingness to work nights, weekends, and some holidays. Prior kitchen experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set up work stations including dish machine and server dump station
• Set up 3 sink area
• Ensure all mops and mop buckets are clean
• Ensure sufficient clean bus tubs for bussers
• Inventory detergents, degreasers, and cleaning equipment, restocking, notifying KM when stock is low
• Wash all equipment, dishes, utensils
• Place silverware and dishes in the area for the Bussers
• Replace kitchenware in the proper kitchen storage areas
• Clean and replace bus tubs
• Spray down and clean dishwasher after use
• Turn off dishwasher
• Set up bleach water (hot) for mopping kitchen and walk-in
• Mop kitchen and walk-in
• Clean and bleach all drains
• Clean all mops and buckets after use
