Job summary

Caviar Club in Fort Lauderdale is seeking dependable, hardworking Dishwashers/Stewards to maintain a clean, efficient kitchen and support our culinary team.

Responsibilities include washing and sanitizing dishes, maintaining back-of-house areas, restocking supplies, and following food safety standards in a fast-paced environment. On-the-job training and opportunities for advancement are provided.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, glassware, silverware, cookware, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout back-of-house areas
• Keep dish machines operating efficiently and report any maintenance concerns
• Sweep, mop, and sanitize kitchen floors during service and after closing
• Remove trash and recycling while maintaining a clean loading and dumpster area
• Clean and sanitize work surfaces, shelving, equipment, walls, and other kitchen areas
• Restock cleaning supplies and assist with organization of storage areas
• Support cooks and chefs with basic kitchen tasks as needed
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Previous dishwasher, steward, porter, janitorial, or restaurant experience is preferred but not required
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is preferred
