Job summary

Kolter Hospitality is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to support the Kitchen team by keeping the area clean, organized and sanitized. You will handle dishes, flatware and related equipment to maintain service readiness.

Responsibilities include operating the dish machine, cleaning floors, storing items properly, and assisting with bussing and plate up when needed. The role emphasizes safety, sanitation and timely tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• No education required.
• Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours.
• Ability to immerse hands in water for extended periods.
• Weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dish machine to clean and sanitize china, glass, pots, pans, and silverware according to standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, mats, walls, and other equipment; empty trash as needed.
• Store glassware, plates, flatware, and equipment in proper racks and organize them.
• Assist with bussing and plate-up when necessary.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines; report faulty or broken equipment immediately.
• Ensure work areas are safe, clean, and orderly at all times.

Overview: A Kolter Hospitality Dishwasher delivers service excellence to the Kitchen team by ensuring the kitchen is clean, orderly and sanitized. This position is responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen, including dishes, flatware and related equipment._____________________________________________________________________________________Performance Expectations:Operate dish machine in the prescribed manner to clean and sanitize all china, glass, silver, pots, pans, silverware etc. according to proper cleaning and product standards.Responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of kitchen floors and mats during and at end of shifts.Store glassware, plates, flatware and kitchen equipment in proper racks and organize properly.Clean walls and kitchen equipment, and empty trash cans in a timely manner.Correctly use, store and label chemicals.Set up hot boxes and assist with plate up when needed.Assist with bussing when necessary.Report any items in need of repair.Ensures work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to all company, local, and state guidelines regarding health, safety, and sanitation.
