Job summary

Westmont Living is seeking a Dishwasher for its Westmont of Encinitas community. The role focuses on keeping the kitchen clean, washing and sanitizing dishes, and maintaining health and safety standards in a senior living environment.

Join a team that emphasizes caring for residents, offers daily pay, and provides benefits after 30 days. Training will be provided to support success in this entry-level position.

Qualifications

• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community.
• Must pass health screenings such as physical, TB, drug test.
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness of major kitchen equipment and for washing, sanitizing, drying, and storing china, glass, silverware, pots, pans, and utensils.
• Transporting all dishes to the kitchen following meal preparation and mealtimes.
• Properly clearing, washing, sanitizing, and restocking all dishes, silverware, and glassware.
• Properly washing pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils.
• Returning dishes and utensils to appropriate storage areas.
• Breaking down kitchen for clean up.
• Ensure all sanitary and safety standards are met.
