We seek a part-time dishwasher available every other weekend. Starting pay is $16.00/hour. Benefits include 401(k), health, life and vision insurance, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service is preferred.
• Experience working with seniors is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify standards of cleanliness, sanitation and organization at all times.
• Adhere to food quality, appearance and presentation standards.
• Maintain dining room appearance and presentation standards.
• Provide service with speed, accuracy and courtesy.
• Set tables and manage work stations, take orders and answer questions about menu items.
• Clear dishes during and after meals, assist with dish washing, and reset tables.
• Serve residents with proper etiquette and promote a welcoming dining atmosphere.
• Understand and correctly apply provided diet specifications per policy and procedure.
• Represent the community warmly to support a positive marketing environment.
• Contribute to a culture where decisions drive revenue and occupancy.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Exemplify at all times Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and organization.
• Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance and presentation standards at all times.
• Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards at all times.
• Exhibit serving standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Set tables and maintain work stations in proper order. Take order, provide service and requested items both graciously and courteously. Answer pertinent questions about menu items.
• Clear dishes from tables during and after meal service, assist with dish washing, and reset tables.
• Serve residents using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.
• Knowledge of diets provided and served correctly per Policy and Procedure.
• Represent community in a warm and inviting manner, which creates a positive marketing environment.
• Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

• Minimum completion of sophomore year in high school required
• Experience in food service work preferred
• Experience in working with seniors preferred
