Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton Chicago Downtown River North is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our ROCKSTAR TEAM. You will maintain cleanliness, wash dishes, and contribute to our culinary excellence while helping us deliver a memorable dining experience for guests.

The role offers a part-time morning schedule with opportunities for advancement through our Management Development Program. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and have strong English

Qualifications

• Experience in a luxury hotel is ideal, but training is available.
• Part-time morning schedule required.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking).

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans.
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
• Clean garbage cans with water or steam.
• Maintain department cleanliness and organization, adhere to safe work and food safety standards.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a luxury hotel setting is ideal, but willing to train the right hospitality professional looking to grow their career. We are dedicated to thoroughly training & developing our team into hotel leaders through interactive teamwork in a positive work environment!

• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods
