The Village on Morehead is seeking a reliable Dishwasher/Utility Worker to join its dining services team. This is a part-time position with weekend and holiday shifts required, offering a competitive pay rate of $15.00 to $17.00 per hour in a senior living community setting.

Responsibilities include operating the dish machine efficiently, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting kitchen operations to ensure a steady supply of clean items for dining and food prep.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in hot, wet, humid environments.
• Ability to lift, reach, bend, and stoop; lift up to 60 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Maintain exceptional hygiene and grooming habits.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Must be able to work holidays.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

• Keep the dish machine clean and report issues.
• Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware.
• Clean food prep and production areas as required.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management to support kitchen operations.

Part Time:

Must be available on weekends and holidays.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Load, run, and unload the dish machine efficiently.
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical issues immediately.
• Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware to ensure adequate levels of clean items for the dining room and kitchen.
• Clean food preparation and production areas as required.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management or leadership to support the smooth operation of the kitchen.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to work in hot, wet, humid, and loud environments for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, reach, bend, and stoop; work in a standing position for long periods; and safely lift bags, cases, and stacks weighing up to 60 pounds up to 30 times per shift.
• Maintain exceptional hygiene and grooming habits.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Must be able to work holidays.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
