The Aspenwood Company - The Village of Meyerland is seeking full-time Dishwasher/Utility Workers to join our assisted living community in Houston. You will operate the dish machine, maintain cleanliness, and ensure a steady supply of clean tableware for dining and kitchen areas.

Ideal candidates are reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work weekends/holidays. This role supports safe, sanitary operations and may involve other general kitchen duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in hot, wet, humid, and loud environments for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift and carry items and stand for long periods.
• Good hygiene and grooming practices.

Responsibilities

• Load, run, and unload the dish machine efficiently.
• Keep the dish machine clean and report issues.
• Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware for dining room and kitchen.
• Clean food prep and production areas as required.
• Perform general cleaning to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.

Location: Village of Meyerland, an Assisted Living with Memory Care senior community

Must be available on weekends and holidays.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Load, run, and unload the dish machine efficiently.
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical issues immediately.
• Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware to ensure adequate levels of clean items for the dining room and kitchen.
• Clean food preparation and production areas as required.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management or leadership to support the smooth operation of the kitchen.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to work in hot, wet, humid, and loud environments for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, reach, bend, and stoop; work in a standing position for long periods; and safely lift bags, cases, and stacks weighing up to 60 pounds up to 30 times per shift.
• Maintain exceptional hygiene and grooming habits.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Must be able to work holidays.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
