Job summary

George & Gather in Chandler, AZ, is seeking a motivated Dishwasher to join our all-day hangout serving breakfast, lunch and dinner in a welcoming space. You will wash and store dishes, help with kitchen cleanliness, and support daily operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining sanitation, handling deliveries, and coordinating with kitchen staff. Nights, weekends, and holidays availability preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a high-volume restaurant is preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Effective communication with kitchen and service staff.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

• 1 Year minimum of experience in a high volume restaurant
• Wash, stack, sort and store dishes, glassware, utensils and cookware
• Maintain a clean and organized dish area free of clutter
• Assist with storing food and product deliveries
• Ensure all dishes are properly cleaned and sanitized
• Ensure equipment is in proper working order
• Assist with kitchen cleanliness and organization
• Monitor trash throughout shift and remove full trash during and at end of shifts
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team with various tasks

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a dishwasher is preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff
• Availability for night shifts, weekends, and holidays
• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred
