Famous Toastery in Cary, NC is hiring a dishwashing team member to keep dishes, utensils, and kitchen areas clean and sanitized. You’ll work in a fast-paced setting, assist with general prep, and help maintain organization throughout the kitchen.

The role requires a keen eye for cleanliness, reliability, and good teamwork. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating schedule is common in this fast-growing restaurant.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Washes and sanitizes dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment or by hand.
• Ensures all items are cleaned thoroughly and returned to their proper storage areas.
• Keeps dishwashing area, sinks, and floors clean and organized at all times.
• Takes out trash and recycling, and assists with cleaning kitchen and storage areas.
• Follows all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Assists kitchen staff with basic prep work or restocking supplies when needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
