The Friendly Toast is seeking friendly, detail-oriented individuals to join our dishwashing team in Nashua, NH. This role supports a fast-paced kitchen by cleaning, organizing, and maintaining dishware and kitchen areas. Availability to work weekends and holidays is required.

We offer growth and a safe, welcoming workplace with community focus. As a key member of the back-of-house, you will manage dishwashing operations, ensure cleanliness, and assist with supply handling while upholding safety

Responsibilities

• Change dishwater in dish machine every hour.
• Wash pots, pans and trays by hand.
• Set up or break down dishwashing area.
• Clean and roll/unroll mats.
• Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions.
• Sweep/mop floors.
• Assemble/disassemble dish machine.
• Sweep up trash around exterior of restaurant and garbage dumpster.
• Wipe up spills to keep kitchen floors dry.
• Notify management if dish machine temps fall below standard.

Major Responsibilities

• Attention to detail and a strong work ethic

• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine.
• Sort and stack clean dishes.
• Carry clean dishes to cook’s line and other proper storage areas.
• Rewash soiled dishes before delivering.
• Reliable and Punctual

Key Responsibilities

Working Conditions

• Hours may vary.
• Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products and supplies weighing 45 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motion.
• Work with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment as well as operating machinery.
