Job summary

Monarch Casino Resort Spa Black Hawk in Colorado is seeking a Steward Dishwasher to support busy kitchens with dishwashing, sanitation, and galley maintenance. This full-time, on-site role offers varied shifts and opportunities to grow within the resort.

You’ll operate dishwashing equipment, assist prep teams, and help keep kitchens clean and compliant; the position includes health benefits, tuition reimbursement, a 401k match, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to stand for the entire shift.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 45 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to work in hot and/or humid environments.
• Available to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Dishwashing and Equipment Operation: Operate industrial dishwashers, glass washers, and a 3-compartment sink; wash dishes and items by hand when necessary.
• Sanitation and Cleaning: Follow sanitation policies, clean trash receptacles, stock hand washing supplies, and frequently sanitize table tops and galley equipment.
• Galley Maintenance: Sweep, mop, and clean the galley area; perform occasional deep cleaning of restaurant spaces.
• Equipment Cleaning: Clean deep fat fryers, grills, and flat tops as needed to ensure proper operation.
• Team Support: Assist prep cooks and kitchen staff as needed, following supervisors’ instructions.

• Shift Flexibility: Must be available to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays, and be flexible with shift timings.l>
• Background Checks: Successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
