Job summary

The Aspenwood Company is seeking a dependable Dishwasher to join our kitchen team at Village on the Park Onion Creek in Austin, TX. The role supports dining services in an independent living and assisted living community, ensuring clean tableware and a sanitary kitchen environment. You will work Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m.

to 2:00 p.m., with required weekend and holiday availability. Successful candidates maintain hygiene, comply with safety protocols, and assist with general kitchen

Qualifications

• Experience operating a dishwashing machine.
• Ability to work in hot, wet, humid environments.
• Maintain high hygiene and grooming standards.
• Able to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Load, run, and unload the dish machine efficiently.
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any issues.
• Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware for dining room and kitchen.
• Clean food prep and production areas as required.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management to support kitchen operations.

Job description

Location: Village on the Park Onion Creek, an Independent Living and Assisted Living senior community

Shifts Available:

Monday - Friday | 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m

Must be available on weekends and holidays.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Load, run, and unload the dish machine efficiently.
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical issues immediately.
• Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware to ensure adequate levels of clean items for the dining room and kitchen.
• Clean food preparation and production areas as required.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management or leadership to support the smooth operation of the kitchen.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to work in hot, wet, humid, and loud environments for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, reach, bend, and stoop; work in a standing position for long periods; and safely lift bags, cases, and stacks weighing up to 60 pounds up to 30 times per shift.
• Maintain exceptional hygiene and grooming habits.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Must be able to work holidays.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
