WE LOVE OUR WORK.

The dishwasher is responsible for washing and drying dishes, cookware, and utensils by hand or using a machine. They also clean kitchen equipment like meat slicers, ovens, fridges, and cooker hoods. They disinfect kitchen floors and surfaces, dispose of waste, and assist cooks and other kitchen staff as needed.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspect, operate, and troubleshoot utility machinery/equipment
• Complete work requests as needed
• Clean up after banquets
• Distribute and verify dishware for specific functions
• Inspect transport equipment and report damages
• Maintain inventory of dishware
• Organize storerooms and chemical closets
• Perform deliming procedures on dishwashers, ice machines, and steamers
• Disassemble and reassemble kitchen equipment for cleaning

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
• Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions
• Effective communication skills with guests and staff
• Food and Service Sanitation certification or willingness to obtain
• Proficiency in English (reading, speaking)
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Physical ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50 lbs

STARTING SALARY

$15.50 to $16.28 per hour
