Howell's Kitchen & Bar in Atlanta, GA is hiring a dependable Dishwasher to join our fast-paced kitchen team. The role offers a wage of $15–$18 per hour based on experience and is onsite in a neighborhood restaurant known for shareable appetizers and artisan pizzas.

We seek individuals who value cleanliness, teamwork, and reliability, with weekend and holiday availability and a readiness to support kitchen operations across shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a restaurant or dishwasher role preferred but not required.
• Able to stand, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and work on your feet for the shift.
• Willingness to learn, grow, and advance within the kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly.
• Keep the dish area clean, organized, and operating efficiently throughout each shift.
• Sanitize all equipment following company and Health Department standards.
• Assist with garbage removal, recycling, and cardboard disposal.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors as needed throughout the shift.
• Restock clean dishes, pans, and utensils for the kitchen and service staff.
• Support kitchen staff with basic prep or cleaning duties when assigned.

Howell's Kitchen & Bar is seeking dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented Dishwashers to join our kitchen team. Located in the heart of Atlanta, Howell's is a neighborhood restaurant and bar known for shareable appetizers, artisan pizzas, fresh salads, tavern classics, and one of the city's most popular patios. Every great meal begins behind the scenes, and our Dishwashers

play an essential role in keeping the kitchen operating safely, efficiently, and ready for every service.

Position Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly
• Keep the dish area clean, organized, and operating efficiently throughout each shift
• Properly sanitize all equipment following company and Health Department standards
• Assist with garbage removal, recycling, and cardboard disposal
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors as needed throughout the shift
• Maintain clean storage areas and properly organize equipment
• Restock clean dishes, pans, and utensils for the kitchen and service staff
• Support kitchen staff with basic prep or cleaning duties when assigned
• Assist with opening, running, and closing responsibilities
• Work closely with cooks, prep staff, and management to keep service running smoothly

Food Safety & Sanitation Standards

• Follow all company sanitation procedures and cleaning schedules
• Maintain Health Department standards at all times
• Properly use cleaning chemicals and sanitation equipment
• Keep dishwashing equipment clean and operating safely
• Follow proper storage and organization procedures
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and professional kitchen environment

Schedule & Availability

Howell's Kitchen & Bar operates in a fast-paced environment with changing business levels throughout the week.

Applicants must have flexible availability, including:

• Weekend availability is required
• Lunch and dinner shifts
• Holidays and special events
• Opening and closing shifts
• Additional hours during busy periods
