Job summary

Convene Hospitality Group is hiring a Back of House Service Technician in New York. You will maintain cleanliness and organization of all food service areas, utensils, and equipment, while ensuring sanitary standards and safe operation.

The role reports to the Executive Chef and requires customer-focused teamwork, with a strong attention to detail. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package and incentive plan.

Qualifications

• Flexible and long hours may be required.
• Ability to move, lift, push, pull up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Care and cleaning of kitchen equipment, dish room and pot washing areas.
• Operate and maintain dish room equipment according to sanitary standards.
• Clean up spills in the kitchen, dining area and work area immediately.
• Wash pots, pans, trays and other cooking and serving equipment.
• Maintain and refresh restrooms; keep display equipment clean.
• Follow HACCP standards for food handling and serving temperatures.
• Transfer supplies between storage and work areas; handle deliveries storing properly.
• Assist other functions as needed; greet customers courteously and address concerns.
