Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida seeks a dedicated dishwasher to clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, preparing items for washing and maintaining sanitation standards.

You will deliver patient trays, transport meal carts, restock serviceware, and help monitor logs and chemical usage while following confidentiality policies.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

• Deliver patient trays and late trays on time following protocols.
• Transport patient meal carts and nourishment carts to nursing units, keeping carts clean.

Job Description:

Clean and sanitize dishes, flatware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper techniques and chemical concentrations to meet safety and sanitation standards. Prepare items for washing by scraping and presoaking, ensuring all visible soil is removed before running through the dish machine for effective sanitization. Deliver patient trays and late trays accurately and on time, following identification protocols and confidentiality policies. Transport patient meal carts and bulk nourishment carts to and from nursing units, maintaining cleanliness of all carts and equipment. Restock clean serviceware to designated locations using correct handling procedures, and monitor dishroom sanitation logs, chemical usage, and equipment performance to ensure compliance. Other duties as assigned.
