Job summary

Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Pemberton Township, NJ is seeking a dishwasher to clean and sanitize dishes for patient services, assist on the patient tray line and deliver to patient areas. The role requires maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen and assisting with cleaning duties around the facility.

The position offers evening shifts, a 40-hour bi-weekly schedule, and a starting rate of $16.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and write English.
• 0–3 months of experience (entry level).

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes and utensils for patient services.
• Work on the patient tray line and deliver food to patient areas.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment including equipment.
• Clean floors, walls, and handle trash and cardboard.
• Provide courteous, prompt customer service and participate in catered events when needed.

Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment to include all equipment. Duties also include cleaning floors, walls, emptying of trash and cardboard, etc. Provide courteous, considerate and prompt customer service. Participation in catered events when needed.

Experience: 0 to 3 months.

Education: High or G.E.D. preferred, but not required.

Required License / Credentials: None

Other Required Skills: Able to read and write the English language.

Contact With Others: Occasional contact with staff and visitors.

Supervision Given: Responsibilities of this position require no supervision or direction of others.

Supervision Received: Works under general supervision in performing routine assignments, referring unusual or more difficult situations to immediate supervisor.

Bi-Weekly Hours: 40

Work Schedule: 3:30 pm - 7:30 pm / 11:30 am - 7:30 pm EOWE

The minimum starting rate for this position is $16.50
