Arsicault Bakery, a beloved institution in San Francisco since 2015, is hiring a reliable Dishwasher/Cleaner for their Civic Center location. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for washing dishes, maintaining a clean bakery environment, and adhering to food safety regulations.

Candidates should have prior experience in a similar position, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and be ServSafe certified. The position offers $20/hr plus tips and includes medical benefits after 90 days.

Qualifications

Dishwasher/Cleaner

Arsicault Bakery, a San Francisco original since 2015, is known for having one of the best croissants in the SF Bay Area. Our Civic Center location at 87 McAllister St. is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher/Cleaner to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, cooking vessels, baking appliances, and utensils by hand in a 3‑compartment sink or using an industrial dishwasher.
• Dry, stack, and store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized bakery environment in the dish room and all back‑of‑house areas, including the restroom and all hand sinks.
• Wipe down ovens, refrigerators/freezers, dumbwaiter, worktables, appliances, and equipment.
• Sweep and mop floors at the end of day in the dish room, kitchen, and restroom.
• Clean the back‑of‑house restroom and all hand sinks, replenishing soap and towel dispensers.
• Lock and take trashcans to the curb at end of day for pick‑up and return them to the garbage room the following morning.
• Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines per SF Health Department Regulations pertaining to sanitation, food handling, storage, and personal hygiene.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the bakery manager.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a dishwasher or cleaner in a similar role preferred.
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Must be able to stand, move, and climb stairs for the duration of the shift.
• Quick learner with the ability to take direction and feedback well.
• Must be ready to start at 8 a.m., including weekends and holidays.
• ServSafe certified.
