Job summary

The Dishwasher at Regents' Glen's The Fairway Table handles cleaning of dishes, glassware, flatware and cookware to support a fast-paced kitchen and dining team. You ensure items are sanitized and ready for service in a clean, organized dish area.

You will work part-time, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed, with a team-focused mindset and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Basic food safety familiarity is helpful, though training is provided.

Qualifications

• No formal experience required, but previous dishwashing/kitchen exposure is a plus.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift 40–50 lbs.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans and kitchen equipment by hand or with machines.
• Sanitize all items per health and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized dish pit and restock clean dishware for kitchen staff.
• Sort and store cleaned items in designated areas.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic prep when available.
• Monitor supplies and request restocking as needed.
• Follow health department and sanitation guidelines.

Role Summary

The Dishwasher plays a vital role in the smooth operation of Regents' Glen's kitchen and dining facilities, ensuring all dishwasher, glassware, flatware, cookware, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned, sanitized, and readily available for culinary and dining staff. This role supports a fast-paced, member-focused environment at The Fairway Table.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment by hand or using commercial dishwashing equipment
• Ensure all items are properly sanitized in accordance with health and safety standards
• Maintain a clean, organized dish pit and promptly restock clean dishware for kitchen and service staff
• Sort, stack, and store cleaned items in designated areas
• Empty trash and recycling as needed and maintain overall kitchen cleanlinessAssist kitchen staff with basic food prep or other tasks during downtime, as directed
• Monitor dishwashing supplies (detergent, sanitizer) and notify management when restocking is needed
• Follow all health department and club sanitation guidelines
• Support setup and breakdown for member events, banquets, and seasonal functions as needed
• Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly

Qualifications

• Prior dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred but not required
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40-50 lbs
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, sometimes physically demanding environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness/sanitation standards
