Job summary

Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group, born from a small New Orleans eatery, operates two brands with more than 20 restaurants across the Southeast. We’re seeking a dishwasher to support breakfast- and lunch-focused service and keep a fast-paced kitchen running smoothly.

You’ll scrub and rinse ware, maintain a clean dish area, and follow safety standards in a hot, humid, loud environment while standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• A firm belief that butter and bacon make everything better!
• No restaurant experience needed
• Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment
• Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized – load, run, and unload dish machine
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately and maintain all safety standards
• Be able to work in a hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time
• Be physically able to lift, reach, bend, and stoop
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
• Be able to safely lift bags, cases, and stacks weighing up to 50lbs frequently
