Hampton Behavioral Health Center in Westampton, New Jersey, is seeking dynamic Dish Room Attendants to support the kitchen, dining room, and tray-line operations for inpatient and outpatient services. You will help with dishwashing, utensil cleanliness, and assisting the Food Service Manager with food items and equipment; prior food service experience is preferred.

The center emphasizes clean facilities and teamwork to ensure quality patient meals and smooth service across departments.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of prior food service experience preferred.

Job Duties:

• Assist in the general clean-up of the kitchen, dining room and storage areas, including refrigerated storage.
• Maintains cleanliness for all cooking utensils and associated equipment.
• Advises Food Service Manager of any irregularities with food preparation, availability of food items/supplies and failure of equipment.
• You will collect and stack dirty dishes, wash dishes and clean work area.
• You will also perform any combination of following duties on tray line: reading orders on menu cards on trays to determine items to place on tray, placing items, such as eating utensils, napkins, and condiments on trays, prepare food items, such as sandwiches, salads, soups, and beverages.
