Black Bear Diners is seeking a Dish Machine Operator to own the dishwashing process, ensuring utensils and service ware are cleaned, sanitized and stocked for the crew.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading the dishwasher, monitoring water temperature and chemical usage, keeping the dishroom clean and organized, and assisting teammates as needed. Flexibility for nights, weekends and holidays is required.

Responsibilities

• Own the dishwashing process to ensure utensils and service ware are cleaned, sanitized and stocked for all crew members.
• Load, run and unload the dish machine; monitor water temperature and chemical usage.
• Keep the dishroom clean and organized; wash and store tableware and kitchenware.
• Assist other employees as needed; bag and haul dishroom trash to dumpster on schedule.
• Complete sidework for the station and shift; perform other related duties as assigned by the manager-on-duty.
