Job summary

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill in Pennsylvania is looking for a Dish Machine Operator to join our Back of House team. You will maintain a clean, safe, and organized dish area and support kitchen operations to help every plate leave the kitchen at peak quality.

You’ll wash, rinse, sanitize, and stack dishware, monitor water temperatures and chemicals, and restock wares to keep the kitchen flowing during fast-paced service. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dish and sanitation area.
• Operate the dish machine efficiently while maintaining proper water temperatures and chemical levels.
• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes following food safety standards.
• Stack and rinse dishware for optimal cleaning results.
• Drain, clean, and refill dish tanks throughout the shift to maintain standards.
• Restock clean wares to proper locations to support kitchen flow.
• Remove trash, break down boxes, and maintain clean disposal areas.
• Maintain dumpster area cleanliness and sanitation.
• Complete prep tasks and support kitchen team members as needed.
• Follow all opening, closing, and cleaning checklists.
• Keep your station clean, organized, and ready for service at all times.
• Work as part of a fast-paced, team-driven kitchen environment.
