Job summary

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is seeking a Dish Machine Operator to join our Back of House team, ensuring a clean, safe, and organized dish and sanitation area so the kitchen can operate at its highest level. You will wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, monitor water temperatures and chemical levels, restock wares, clear trash, and support the kitchen in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

• Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dish and sanitation area.
• Operate the dish machine efficiently while maintaining proper water temperatures and chemical levels.
• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes following food safety standards.
• Stack and rinse dishware for optimal cleaning results.
• Drain, clean, and refill dish tanks throughout the shift to maintain standards.
• Restock clean wares to proper locations to support kitchen flow.
• Remove trash, break down boxes, and maintain clean disposal areas.
• Maintain dumpster area cleanliness and sanitation.
• Complete prep tasks and support kitchen team members as needed.
• Follow all opening, closing, and cleaning checklists.
• Keep your station clean, organized, and ready for service at all times.
• Work as part of a fast-paced, team-driven kitchen environment.
