Job summary

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill in Omaha is seeking a Dish Machine Operator to keep the back-of-house dish and sanitation area clean, safe, and organized so the kitchen can operate at its highest level.

You’ll support the kitchen team by washing, rinsing and sanitizing dishes, maintaining water temperatures and chemical levels, and restocking wares to keep the line moving during busy service periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dish and sanitation area.
• Operate the dish machine efficiently while maintaining proper water temperatures and chemical levels.
• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes following food safety standards.
• Stack and rinse dishware for optimal cleaning results.
• Drain, clean, and refill dish tanks throughout the shift to maintain standards.
• Restock clean wares to proper locations to support kitchen flow.
• Remove trash, break down boxes, and maintain clean disposal areas.
• Maintain dumpster area cleanliness and sanitation.
• Complete prep tasks and support kitchen team members as needed.
• Follow all opening, closing, and cleaning checklists.
• Keep your station clean, organized, and ready for service at all times.
• Work as part of a fast-paced, team-driven kitchen environment.
