Firebirds Wood Fired Grill in Moorestown, NJ is seeking a Dish Machine Operator to keep our back-of-house dish and sanitation area clean, safe, and organized so the kitchen can operate at its highest level. Your work supports every plate that leaves the kitchen and every guest experience we deliver.

You’ll work in a fast-paced, team-driven kitchen, maintaining water temperatures and chemical levels, washing and sanitizing dishes, restocking wares, and supporting the kitchen during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dish and sanitation area.
• Operate the dish machine efficiently while maintaining proper water temperatures and chemical levels.
• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes following food safety standards.
• Stack and rinse dishware for optimal cleaning results.
• Drain, clean, and refill dish tanks throughout the shift to maintain standards.
• Restock clean wares to proper locations to support kitchen flow.
• Remove trash, break down boxes, and maintain clean disposal areas.
• Maintain dumpster area cleanliness and sanitation.
• Complete prep tasks and support kitchen team members as needed.
• Follow all opening, closing, and cleaning checklists.
• Keep your station clean, organized, and ready for service at all times.
• Work as part of a fast-paced, team-driven kitchen environment.
