Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is hiring a Dish Machine Operator to support our Back of House team. You will keep dish and sanitation areas clean, operate the dish machine, and ensure foodsafety standards are met to help the kitchen run smoothly.

The role emphasizes teamwork, efficiency in a fast-paced environment, and adherence to safety procedures. If you’re reliable, physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, and excited to grow with a growing restaurant brand, we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dish and sanitation area.
• Operate the dish machine efficiently with proper water temperatures and chemical levels.
• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes following food safety standards.
• Stack and rinse dishware for optimal cleaning results.
• Drain, clean, and refill dish tanks throughout the shift to maintain standards.
• Restock clean wares to proper locations to support kitchen flow.
• Remove trash, break down boxes, and maintain clean disposal areas.
• Maintain dumpster area cleanliness and sanitation.
• Complete prep tasks and support kitchen team members as needed.
• Follow opening, closing, and cleaning checklists.
• Keep your station clean, organized, and ready for service at all times.
• Work as part of a fast-paced, team-driven kitchen environment.
