Job summary

Mark Twain Casino in LaGrange, MO is seeking a diligent dishwasher/kitchen attendant to keep dishes, utensils, pots, and glassware clean and organized.

You will assist in startup, cleanup, and shutdown of shifts, follow health and safety standards, and provide a high level of customer service. This role requires basic computer skills and a Missouri Gaming license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform all essential duties satisfactorily.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Knowledge of company policies and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Clean dishes, utensils, pots, pans, silverware, glassware, and kitchen equipment.
• Assist in start up, clean up and shutting down of each shift.

• Polish silverware and dishes and set up tables in the restaurant.
• Provide a high level of customer service.

Job description

Open Now! All Ages Dining at Fireside Bar and Grill located inside Mark Twain Casino in LaGrange, MO.

To clean all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, silverware, glassware, and kitchen. Also responsible for performing any reasonable task assigned by the Sous Chefs or cooks. Assists in start up, clean up and shutting down of each shift.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Answer to the Executive/Sous Chefs and Cooks.
• Maintain proper sanitation and health department standards in all kitchen areas.
• Keep the kitchen in a clean and safe manner at all times.
• Know and follow all the Mark Twain Casino policies and procedures.
• Perform any other job asked by management.
• Keep work area clean and free of safety hazards, debris, and litter.
• Maintain working relationship with all co-workers, maintain open communication with the Executive Sous Chef and Sous Chef at all times.
• Perform all job functions in a safe and responsible manner.
• Clean and set up tables in the restaurant.
• Polish silverware and dishes.
• Provide a high level of customer service.
• Maintain work station standards at all times.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Missouri Gaming Level II Gaming License required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to effectively communicate in English.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Must have Microsoft Office experience and basic computer skills.
