Michigan Office Environments seeks a Furniture Dealership Designer to lead planning, specification, and execution of complex commercial furniture projects in Kalamazoo. You will collaborate with clients, architects, and project teams to deliver innovative, budget-minded workplace environments from programming through installation.

The role requires 2-5+ years in commercial furniture dealership, strong CET Designer and AutoCAD skills, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• 2-5+ years of commercial furniture dealership experience.
• Experience managing projects from concept through installation.
• Demonstrated expertise in systems furniture, ancillary products, and workplace design.
• Strong CET Designer, AutoCAD, and Office Suite skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead programming, space planning, and furniture application strategies for corporate, healthcare, education, and government environments.
• Develop accurate furniture specifications using CET Designer and manufacturer tools; generate BOMs and installation drawings.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and IT teams to coordinate furniture, power, and technology requirements.
• Coordinate project reviews, quality checks, and resolution of field conditions; support closeout activities.
