Job summary

Workscapes, Inc. seeks a design professional to deliver commercial contract furniture design, programming, space planning and detailed working drawings. You will collaborate with dealership staff, sales and installation teams to ensure plans meet client requirements and industry standards.

Qualifications

Minimum of three years of experience in commercial contract furniture design.
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design.
State of Florida Registered Interior Design (Preferred).
NCIDQ Certification (Preferred).
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Spec and CET (Configura).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

Design process: conduct programming interviews, develop plans, and prepare drawings and color/finish boards.
Create and present block/space plans and final working drawings for specification and installation.
Collaborate with sales, order entry and installation teams to ensure design feasibility and client satisfaction.
Maintain detailed project documentation and track design time, changes, and approvals.
Ensure adherence to building codes and industry standards and review punch lists with managers.
