Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks a Discovery IT System Administrator to join our Legal department in Detroit. The role focuses on maintaining electronic discovery applications, administering servers, and supporting cloud and on‑prem infrastructure within a fast-paced government-contracting environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with e-discovery tools and EDRM.
• Experience administering Windows Server 2019/2022 and SQL Server 2019/2022.
• Ability to install, operate, and manage cloud and on‑prem infrastructure.
• Knowledge of legal technology and e-discovery workflows.

Responsibilities

• Ensure day-to-day availability of electronic discovery applications and related tools.
• Administer and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure; install, configure, test and maintain OS, applications and management tools.
• Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and coordinate fixes with vendors/developers.
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies; provide user training.
• Assist in technical architecture discussions and liaise with vendors on behalf of OGC.
• Support backend infrastructure, data migrations, and cloud/server management.
